Each My Meaning Client Profile has its own subscription.
The person or organisation responsible for paying is called the Subscription Sponsor. That sponsor can change over time without creating a new Client Profile, moving the information in it or automatically changing who has access.
If someone else will fund the next annual subscription, an authorised person can arrange for a new person or organisation to become the Subscription Sponsor.
If the current subscription is still active, it continues until its scheduled end date. The new sponsor can take responsibility for the next annual term.
Alex has a My Meaning Client Profile.
A provider pays for Alex’s current annual subscription.
Later, Alex’s family decides to fund the next year. The family becomes the new Subscription Sponsor for the next period.
Nothing needs to be transferred. Alex keeps the same profile, the same information remains in it, and access continues to be managed separately.
If you’re still responsible for the subscription and only need to update your card or billing details, simply update the payment method.
If the annual subscription ends without another funded period in place, the Client Profile becomes unsponsored and normal My Meaning features may become unavailable.
An authorised user can establish a new annual subscription. The new paid period begins when the new subscription is confirmed.
The same Client Profile and existing information remain in place.
Quick answers to the most common questions about who pays, access and what happens when a subscription changes.
No. Paying does not give the Subscription Sponsor ownership of the Client Profile.
No. Each subscription relates to one Client Profile.
Yes. The Subscription Sponsor for a future period can be different.
If the current subscription remains active, the new sponsorship can be arranged for the next period rather than shortening the existing paid term.
An authorised person can establish a new annual subscription for the existing Client Profile.
Whether a family member, practitioner or organisation funds the next subscription, the participant’s Client Profile can remain in place.
